Lead by 4th year quarterback Blake Bortles, the Jacksonville offense was one of the team's weakest links. Aside from a few games here and there, the offense struggled to put points on the board.
When life gives you lemons....
The team dealt with many issues throughout the season, with Pro Bowl WR Allen Robinson tearing his ACL on the first play of the regular season. This meant that veteran WRs Allen Hurns and Marquise Lee had to step up and make plays. While both played well, injuries caught them as well. This lead to the Jaguars leaning on two rookies, 4th round draft pick DeDe Westbrook from Oklahoma University, and undrafted free agent Keelan Cole out of Kentucky-Wesleyan University. The rookies stepped up to the challenge and played very well under the pressure, however it left fans wondering what could have been had the Jaguars had their star receiver in the lineup.

A Silver Lining
With all the issues the offense was struggling with, the one positive thing fans had to look at was the strong play of rookie RB Leonard Fournette. After being picked 4th overall in the draft he became the first Jaguars player since Maurice Jones-Drew in 2011 to rush for 1,000+ yards. It looks as though the Jaguars have found their franchise runner.
